You'll need :

6 cups fresh or frozen tart/sour cherries

12 cups water

1 cup sugar (or sweetener of your choice)


In a medium cooking pot, add cherries, sugar and water. Over low heat, bring it to a boil, stirring occasionally.  Continue boiling for 10 minutes.  Turn off the heat and let it cool completely.  Serve straight up or over ice.  

Tip: If you don’t like flooding cherries, strain the Cherrymonade before serving.
